My mother taught me how to bake from an early age. I have a passion for baking and baking has been a part of my life ever since.
When I was 18, I started 'Lizzie's Larder', which sold sweets, cakes, and desserts to cafes, restaurants, and delis throughout Liverpool. My business grew quickly and I was able to hire a small team of bakers to help me.
After a while, however, I realized that design, decoration, and wedding cakes were my true passion. After graduating from Manchester, I spent three years in the design and decoration industry before setting up Elizabeth Harris, my luxury wedding cake company.
My studio is located in Liverpool, and I teach sugarcraft. In the past few years, I've also had the opportunity to teach sugarcraft at Renshaw Academy.
