In 2012, I opened a market stall at the harbourside. It was a difficult job that required me to face the English weather. M Shed visited me once and I was forced to stand outside in the rain for 8 hours with sugar corgis and cupcakes. After a few months, I moved the business indoors and received many more orders. It was an amazing moment when I hired my first employee. I felt like I had a real business. We were awarded the Best Food & Drink Business category in the Western Daily Press Food & Farming Award 2015. You'll see that things have changed a lot since then. We now offer wedding cake tastings as well as gluten-free baking classes. These are very popular.
